Ray Norton took the day off to go down to London for his pre-marriage visa, another one of the American consulates money grabs. It was one of the office secrets although in reality, a widely known one.
I wrote in my diary that I was definately feeling a bit jealous, which I think was understandable, but hoped it all worked out for them.
It brought back a lot of memories for me, but not sad ones, I think that enough time had passed and since my Crosby Marina self diagnosis and reset session I had integrated back into real life.
Nevertheless, it was going to be a sad day when Ray left as he was part of our "young" crowd at APPH and it was obvious, through people leaving, marriage and other commitments, that the crowd was dwindling.
