Education Conga

In the months that followed, FEA consumed half my time at work and a green geometric mesh was burned into my eyeballs in such a way that, when I closed my eyes, it was still there. The same effect as momentarily looking at the sun and experiencing ghosting on the retina.

The management also instructed me to "pass on" what I had learned, a familiar story in the workplace, which, would be fine if I had learned to peel spuds, but to pass on two months of learning, failing and frustration was not going to be easy, especially as we only had one terminal to use, one licence for the software and a cramped little area for the equipment.

It was, as they say, the blind leading the blind.
